I don’t know if I could accurately describe how much I love this family and miss having them a part of my every day life. I took these photos for them a few days before they moved away, so it was in the midst of a whole lot of chaos. Nearly everything was boxed up in their home and I managed to get them outside for a few more photos while they were still Vancouverites. I photographed all three of these babies on their first day of life. They call me Auntie Katie even though we are not related by blood. I have learned so much from them. Kari & Patrick are one of the best couples I know. They have always welcomed me into their home, literally at any time… even in the middle of the night once. All this to say that they’ve impacted my life in such a huge way and I can’t wait to go visit them in Arizona!
